Over the last 15 years, Bajaj has improvised itself a lot in making motorcycles, so much that it has ditched its roots as a manufacturer of India’s first popular scooter and becoming a motorcycle only maker, just like Harley Davidson and Royal Enfield. Some feel that this is actually a huge risk by Bajaj by not existing in the booming scooter market, but Bajaj strongly feels that its motorcycles are capable enough to keep it in the game.

Bajaj has come up with a new bike in India and is bound to grab the attention of users in the competitive market. The overall design of the Bajaj Pulsar NS180 has been inspired from Pulsar NS200 which is the most successful models. It also gets a split grab rail and aluminium plate holder similar to the one found on the Pulsar NS200. The instrument console tyres and brakes are expected to be same as its predecessor.
This motor produces
19 to 21bhp of power and
16Nm of torque. The new engine might be mated to a five-speed gearbox. The upcoming Pulsar NS180 is likely to feature a four-valve,
liquid cooled engine with triple spark technology. The bike comes with a perimeter frame and boasts of 50:50 weight distributions. Latest news reveal that the bike does not sport a rear tyre hugger or mudguard.

Bajaj Pulsar CS200 is currently under the state of confusion as the bigger product from its lineup, CS400 has been named Dominar 400 by the company. If seen the same way, the CS200 will soon change to Dominar 200 and the motorcycle will carry the same 199.5 cc engine from the 200 Duke. Not just that, it will also get a reduced power output in order to suit the cruiser character of the motorcycle. The currently used engine on Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is good for 24.2 BHP at 9750 rpm and 18.6 Nm at 8000 rpm. As of now, there is no news about Dominar 200 anywhere in the Indian automobile market.

The first model to join the list of upcoming Bajaj Bikes is the V22. The name itself suggests that the new motorcycle will be the third product under ‘V’ brand. It is expected to be based on the Pulsar 220. While Bajaj is yet to reveal any official information on the same, the bike is expected to be called V22. It could share powertrain and engine from the Pulsar 220.
Powering the motorcycle will be a 220cc, oil-cooled engine that will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 21.05PS of power at 8,500rpm and 19.12Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. Suspension set up will likely comprise telescopic forks at front and monoshock absorbers at rear. While stopping power will come from Brembo disc brakes and it could get an ABS system also.

Bajaj Pulsar SS400 is one of the two concepts that rocked the Auto Expo and led to the production of RS200. Bajaj Auto has never hinted at any possible launch for the same while it is expected to carry the same spirit as RC390, sharing its engine with the mighty sprinter. It will definitely weigh more but coupled with Bajaj DTS-i and triple spark system, it can return a nice mileage and performance figure.
Slowly spreading its cards this year, the Ace of Bajaj Autos is still not on the table. With the expectations like Pulsar 400SS or Pulsar SS400, the Ace (400SS) would be the commander of the Pulsar series. It would be a benchmark for the other motorcycle manufacturer's as the competition for more performance oriented bikes will definitely rise this year.
